The Aim of B.J.P. Friends Blog.

{BJP leaders L K Advani, Rajnath Singh and Sushma Swaraj for a human chain in Parliament House on Thursday 24-4-2008}

The main aim of this Blog is to combine all like-minded Indian people, having faith in Bharatiya Janatha Party leadership and attachment with Indian Country. In every home and village there will be somebody, who willingly and voluntarily come forward to lend a helping hand to the needy people. Likewise Bharatiya Janatha Party is telling the people not to carry away by glittering speeches or flamboyant personalities.

At present in India the poor fellow is over burdened with all types of work and getting a very low remuneration. All commodities prices are increasing day-by-day and the poor worker unable to run his family with low income. The poor worker is not getting any reward for his over work. The ruling party must realize the burden of the common man, and they should not exploit the poor people to carry more burdens on their back than they could legitimately carry. To enlighten the
Steep rise in prices of cereals, pulses, vegetables, edible oils, sugar and milk.” BJP leaders L K Advani, Rajnath Singh and Sushma Swaraj formed a human chain in Parliament House on Thursday. And they are going to meet the Prime Minister demanding some urgent steps to bring down the prices.
NDA disrupts both Houses on price rise
{News from Indian New papers}
New Delhi: Not to be left out in protesting against skyrocketing prices, the BJP-led NDA on Thursday paralysed Parliament, slamming the government for its failure to contain inflation. The Opposition, led by their leader in Lok Sabha L K Advani, formed a human chain in Parliament Complex around Mahatma Gandhi’s statue for an hour demonstrating against UPA’s failure to control price rise. Raising anti-government slogans, MPs of BJP, JD(U), BJD and Akali Dal assembled around Gandhi’s statue in a show of protest against the economic polices of the UPA government. Speaking at the protest venue, Advani said, “The Congress-led government has failed on all fronts... its failure is most glaring in an area that affects the common man the most on a daily basis — the prices of essential commodities and services. The family budgets of not only the poor but even the middle classes have been badly eroded by the steep rise in prices of cereals, pulses, vegetables, edible oils, sugar and milk.” The Opposition has already called for a general strike on May 2, as part of its agitation against the UPA government on price rise. “Prices of essential commodities go up whenever Congress comes to power. The government has completely failed to check price rise,” BJP chief Rajnath Singh said. Draped in banners with slogans like ‘Congress, Communists responsible for price rise’ and ‘Check price rise or quit’, parliamentarians, including senior leaders like Jaswant Singh, Sushma Swaraj, V K Malhotra, Hema Malini, George Fernandes, Sharad Yadav (both from JD-U) and Shiv Sena leader Manohar Joshi, took part in the protest. After their demonstration, members of BJP and its alliance parties returned to both Houses raising slogans against the government. In the Lok Sabha, Speaker Somnath Chatterjee tried to run the House ignoring the noise. However, everything was drowned in the vociferous slogan-shouting by the Opposition members, who walked down to the well. With the NDA members shouting and clapping around the chair, Chatterjee adjourned the House for two hours. Almost a similar scene was witnessed in the Rajya Sabha where Chairman Hamid Ansari adjourned the House in the middle of slogan shouting by the Opposition members. After the Left and the third front grouping under the UNPA banner had already staged protests and courted arrest on the issue, the BJP action seems a little late in the day. Left leaders to meet Manmohan today New Delhi: Upset with the government’s complete disregard to their protests on price rise, top Left leaders will meet Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Friday demanding some urgent steps. Senior Left leaders said a delegation comprising CPM leaders Prakash Karat, Sitaram Yechury, CPI leaders A B Bardhan, D Raja, RSP leader Abani Roy and Forward Bloc’s Debabrata Biswas would tell the PM that steps taken by the government had not helped in arresting price rise. They will also warn him of the huge political cost that UPA could have to pay at the hustings. What has further angered Left is Planning Commission deputy chairman Montek Singh Ahluwalia’s assertion that forward trading was not the cause of inflation. “We will demand immediate ban on futures trading of 25 food items,” a source said. The Left feels the government is not taking price rise seriously. Instead, it thinks top ministers and officials were justifying it on the ground that it was a global phenomenon. TNN

B.J.P. Friends throught India must form a Human Chain on a particular day to show our grievance to the Central Government and issue pamphlets to bring down the rising prices.

The way Congress has been targeting elected BJP Govt, especially the Karnataka Govt, is shameful. We should all unite together and fight the scam tainted and corrupt Congress and make sure they do not return to power again.
