Attack on ‘Dinakaran’ News Paper Office by M.K.Alagiri supporters three employees were killed. Now why patch-up with Karunanidhi?

Opposition leader in Tamil Nadu J Jayalalithaa on Wednesday demanded that chief minister and DMK president M Karunanidhi disclose the terms of his settlement with his grand-nephews, the Maran brothers. Contending that the people had a right know “the terms of the bargain”, Jayalalithaa raised questions about the fate of Arasu Cable Corporation, a cable network company floated by the government apparently to break the monopoly of Sumangali Cable Vision (SCV), a network firm belonging to Kalanithi M a r a n’s Sun Group, and the M a r a n side’s alleg at i o n s about a huge scam in spectrum allocation.

There were accusations of murder, arson and looting made by Kalanithi against Azhagiri after the May 2007 attack on ‘Dinakaran’, a Tamil daily from the Sun group, in which three employees were killed. Jayalalithaa wanted to know the fate of these charges. Jayalalithaa wanted to know if ‘monopoly in the cable TV business’ had been guaranteed to the Maran brothers as part of the settlement.

“The CM had carried the family dispute to the public platform by writing tearful articles and spiteful poems. So, now he cannot complaint if this settlement is analysed by those who are involved or interested in public affairs,” Jayalalithaa said. As long as the ‘war’ was going on, “he was acting like a war correspondent. Now, he has a duty to report on the terms of the ceasefire,” she said in a statement.

Whether Karunanidhi will explain the reasons for the patch-up?

Mother who lost her son wants Justice in “Dinakaran “attacked case.

Mother who lost her son wants Justice in “Dinakaran “attacked case.

Exactly 18 months after Tamil daily Dinakaran’s Madurai office was attacked and partially burnt down by a mob, resulting in the death of three employees, one of the victim’s mother has moved the High Court, accusing the CBI of succumbing to political pressure. Fearing danger to her life, G Thilagavalli, the mother of Gopinath, who was burnt alive along with Vinoth Kumar and Muthuramalingam on May 9, 2007, said the CBI had "willfully and wantonly" left out the names of chief minister M Karunanidhi's son M K Azhagiri and the sitting mayor of Madurai, Thenmozhi, from the chargesheet.

The DMK government had handed over the investigation to the CBI, as men linked to the DMK were allegedly involved in the incident. The CBI filed the chargesheet on August 6, 2007 before the chief judi-cial magistrate court in Madurai. It cited 17 persons as accused. Noting that the entire incident was carried out on instructions from and at the instigation of Azhagiri and Thenmozhi, the petitioner said the mayor was physically present during the whole incident. “Police willfully and wantonly excluded their names for obvious reasons,” she said. Thilagavalli said she had sent representations to the CBI director as well as the Supreme Court. Though she had preferred a private com-plaint before the judicial magistrate court at Melur in Madurai district, she could not be present in court on the date of hearing due to threats from the henchmen of the chief minister's son, she said.

Ever since she filed a petition before the Madurai bench of the Madras High Court, she has been receiving threatening calls, she said. She has filed the present petition seeking the High Court's permission to file a private complaint before any one of the metropolitan magistrate courts in Chennai instead of competent courts in Madurai. Justice K Mohan Ram, before whom the matter came up on Thursday, adjourned it to November 10 to decide its maintainability. The attack on Dinakaran, which belongs to the Sun TV media group, followed a survey published by the daily on the chances of various persons to succeed Karunanidhi as DMK leader. The survey showed that Azhagiri’s popularity was very low among DMK supporters. The survey enraged Azhagiri’s supporters who torched the daily’s Madurai office.

The mother of the victim must get justice and the culprits in the back-door must be punished, that is the ambition of all people in Tamilnadu.

Periyar Dravidar Kazhagam (PDK), a breakaway outfit of the Dravidar Kazhagam, created problem in the BJP State General Council Meeting.

Indicating a renewal of ties between the AIADMK and the BJP in the coming general elections, BJP national president, Rajnath Singh said the two parties shared common views and perceptions on “certain issues”. However, he said the BJP had not established any communication with the AIADMK yet on forging an electoral alliance. And neither had the AIADMK “sent any signals” to the BJP. A few hours before Rajnath Singh arrived here, Periyar Dravidar Kazhagam (PDK), a breakaway outfit of the Dravidar Kazhagam, staged a black flag protest, resulting in clashes between the two parties. Just as the BJP’s state general council meeting got underway at a marriage hall on the Salem Steel Plant Road, around 11 am, a group of PDK cadres and members from a few other organizations marched to the venue, waving black flags. The protestors had distributed pamphlets a few days ago demanding that permission should not be granted for a fundamentalist outfit to hold a meeting in Salem. They had also demanded the release of Chattisgarh’s PUCL leader, Binayak Sen, besides the retrieval of Kanchamalai hills from mining operations. When the protestors were just a few meters away from the venue, BJP cadres came out of the meeting and raised slogans Meanwhile, the police arrested the protestors and took them away. Two hours later, the BJP chief arrived at the venue amid tight security. Police have registered cases against 50 BJP members under sections 147, 341, 323 and 427 of the IPC and against the PDK members for unlawful assembly. They were let off later in the evening, after the BJP chief left Salem.

Political parties like PDK creating problem in other parties meeting will not get any support from the people. If they are having any grievance they can have a meeting on the next day and can explain to the people. Creating problem in others meeting will not bring them any good name.

UPA wins Trust vote by charges of trading Money.

UPA wins Trust vote by charges of trading Money.

The 19-vote victory came after the managers of the Manmohan Singh government had outmaneuvered and outgunned the opposition in what has been one of the murkiest contests in parliamentary history — a contest in which charges of bribery and misuse of CBI drowned all other substantive issues on debate.

Charges of horse-trading were rampant on Monday, the day before, and the days before that. But on Tuesday, it came out in the open in Parliament as a shocked country watched on television three BJP members rush into the Lok Sabha well waving wads of currency notes that were allegedly given to them by SP leader Amar Singh’s men to abstain from the trust vote. They claimed to have video graphic evidence of the whole bribery operation.

Leader’s opinion about the Trust Vote.

Leader of Opposition L K Advani claimed the “moral” plank in the Manmohan Singh government’s trust vote on Tuesday 22-7-2008 when he said that the UPA had won a ‘numerical” victory but had lost out in terms of credibility in the eyes of the nation.

The BJP leader admitted that there had been cross-voting and said “UPA might have won the trust vote, but its victory was corrupt and manipulated. The government scored a numerical win but lost on moral grounds.” He pointed out that the episode needed a detailed investigation and hoped that Speaker Somnath Chatterjee would take appropriate action.
The BJP, which had been subject of a determined poaching attack by the ruling coalition, was able to substantially turn the tables on the government through the cash-for-votes episode. On the back foot, the BJP was able to grab centre stage by claiming that the money its MPs “deposited” in the House, was proof of allegations of horse trading.
The alleged bribes saw the BJP taking the aggressive path and directing its attack on Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. The timing of the episode couldn’t have been better for the BJP as the text of the PM’s speech—which he did not deliver—showed. The PM had aimed his ammunition at Advani and the BJP. The tactic was similar as when he targeted the Opposition during his Budget intervention.
But if the attempt was to push the BJP under withering fire, the bribe allegations saw BJP saw take the high road. “An immediate investigation is needed. Also, the Speaker, who has placed so many premiums on transparency, should make the tapes available to media. Since the bribery attempt has taken place outside the House, their was no bar on MPs being probed,” Advani added.

PRAKASH KARAT (CPM)

They didn’t approach CPM MPs because they knew they can’t bribe them. This is certainly the most shameful day in the history of Parliament

RAJNATH SINGH (BJP)

For the last three-four days attempts were being made to purchase MPs. This is the most shameful and saddest day of Parliament. This has also hurt the prestige of Indian Parliament

Why Congress wants that India to be a slave under America?

Why Congress wants that India to be a slave under America?

The Congress had no right to point fingers at BJP telling that it is a communal Party, as it had already voted with the BJP to bring down the V.P. Singh government in 1990 and later to remove the governments of H.D. Deve Gowda in 1997 and I.K. Gujral in 1998.
Now it is the duty of all parties to bring down the Congress government in the nuclear deal with US, which is not favourable for our Indian Country and people.

CPI national secretary D. Raja gave his reasons why the CPI and other Left parties, who have always worked in unison, have opposed the deal and come into conflict with other parties. He said the specifics of the deal hadbeen scrutinized by senior scientists, intellectuals and by the partyleadership before it had been decided to oppose the deal.
This deal, said Mr. Raja, is not acceptable to CPI for a few reasons. It subjects India to the Hyde Act, which is a domestic US law. CPI does not want India to be covered by US laws

On the issue of the Indo-US nuclear deal, B.J.P. leader Mr Advani said: “The UPA has supinely now consented to be pushed to agreeing to this deal, at a pace dictated by the US and at their domestic convenience.”

Congress people are now very particular in supporting Indo-Us Nuclear deal with America, the disclosure of the text of the IAEA safeguards agreement, it is abundantly clear that, while international inspection and safeguards shall be imposed permanently on our reactors, the exemptions remain doubtful.

It is widely known that for all practical purposes no further testing shall be permitted in India. When fact is like that, why Congress wants that India to be a slave under America?

Tuesday, July 15, 2008

B.J.P. is not a Political Party from America.

B.J.P. is not a Political Party from America.

The Congress telling about the CPM joining hands with BJP to defeat the congress and called for a Left rethink of BJP Chief Rajnath Singh promise of building Ram Temple. Building a Ram Temple is a matter within our selves to decide about the issue. But by joining the nuclear deal, we have to get permission from America for everything in our nuclear project improvements.
When UPA people are very particular in supporting Indo-Us Nuclear deal with America, the disclosure of the text of the IAEA safeguards agreement, it is abundantly clear that, while international inspection and safeguards shall be imposed permanently on our reactors, the exemptions remain doubtful. It is widely known that for all practical purposes no further testing shall be permitted. It is clear that India to be a slave under America.

It is a known fact that the US administration has been exerting pressure on the Indian establishment because President George W Bush, reeling under unfavourable popularity ratings, wants to exhibit it as his one great foreign policy success.

Being a CPM member, Lok Sabha speaker Somnath Chatterjee must resign his present post and he must stand as a symbol for supporting for CPM party’s ideology. For doing a good thing there is no problem in joining with an Indian Party.

Former Prime Minister V P Singh on Tuesday 15-7-2008 asked the Government not to proceed with the nuclear deal before trust vote, saying that the agreement will curtail the country’s political freedom. Singh said it was not in national interest to compromise on political freedom and the MPs and people should keep in mind as to at what cost the country is signing the deal.
As a learned person Somnath Chatterjee must obey the instructions of CPM leader Prakash Karat, who wants him to resign as the Lok Sabha speaker before 22nd July so that he can vote against the government.

Somnath decision that he was against for voting with BJP is not acceptable by all. For doing good thing he can join with anybody except culprits.

Whether the present UPA Government will survive?

Whether the present UPA Government will survive?

The government’s bid to survive the efforts of BJP and the Left to bring it down is now boiling down to a Tiger and Jackal game in UP. Mayawati has promised to take away at least three SP MPs. This is the first time that BSP and the Left have come together. While CPM views politics from the prism of class, BSP practices politics of caste determinism. However, the common objective of bringing the UPA government down has knocked them into an close alliance.
While Mayawati does not believe in striking long-term partnerships, this unusual political get-together could survive for two reasons. First, their spheres of influence do not overlap. Second, Mayawati needs a partner at the Centre. The CPM, on its part, needs an ally in the Hindi heartland. In this scenario, Mayawati, who has never hid her prime ministerial ambitions, will not be in a hurry to turn away the leftists.

CPM boss Prakash Karat, who had vowed to make it politically impossible for the Congress led government to execute the nuclear deal, on Sunday demonstrated the seriousness of his intent by reaching out to Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati for the first-ever collaboration on a political project between the two parties that do not see eye to eye.
Karat’s meeting with Mayawati on Sunday 13-7-2008.came at a time when the Uttar Pradesh chief minister is seething with anger over the government’s renewed attempt to set the CBI on her trail in a disproportionate assets case and the Congress’ growing friendliness with the Samajwadi Party.

After the 45-minute meeting, Karat said, “Mayawati reiterated her opposition to the deal. It was decided that there should be cooperation to stop the deal and in the struggle against the UPA government in this regard.”
Karat expressed appreciation for the stand taken by Mayawati on the nuclear deal. “He stressed that since the deal is against the country's interests, both parties should cooperate to fight against it,” a CPM statement said. Both leaders decided to coop-erate in Parliament when the trust vote is taken on July 22.

The BSP could be the centre piece of the CPM’s determined effort to defeat the government. The Congress calculations hinge on the hope that there will not be large-scale desertions from the SP’s ranks.

Mayawati can offer political accommodation – Lok Sabha tickets - to those who break ranks with the SP. Second, she can add to the anxieties of SP members who have reasons to fear the law.
On the proposed India-United States nuclear deal, Opposition Party Leader Mr. Advani said the government did not have the authority to execute any binding international agreement. The BJP would “renegotiate” the deal if it came to power.

``What has been done surreptitiously now needs to be condemned. We have a feeling a conspiracy is afoot to present the nation with a fait-accompli on the deal by rushing it through behind closed doors,’’ Mr Advani alleged, adding, ``No government — least of all a minority government — can be permitted to make commitments on an issue as fundamental to the country’s long-term interests and national security

Manmohan Singh P.M. of India and US President George W. Bush in 2005 unveiled the agreement to share civilian nuclear technology -- a deal that when finalised would see India entering the fold of global nuclear commerce after being shut out for decades.
Other than UPA parties people believe that allowing UN inspections of the country's civil nuclear programme -- as demanded by the Americans -- would harm India's strategic weapons programme.

The parliamentary vote, set for July 22, will going decide if the world's largest democracy will have to go to early polls before the end of the year and not when the government's mandate ends in May 2009. Let us see Whether the present UPA Government will survive?

Indo-US Nuclear deal.

Indo-US Nuclear deal.

BJP leader L K Advani on Thursday 10-7-2008 charged Prime Minister Manmohan Singh with “deceiving the nation” on the Indo-US nuclear deal and, marking out NDA’s role as the principal opposition, said the government had chosen to approach the IAEA in a surreptitious manner.

After a meeting of the NDA, Advani mounted a powerful attack on the government for its “decision to go to IAEA” within a day of having committed itself to do so only after a confidence vote in Parliament. The leader of the Opposition accused the PM of sharing the draft with “the rest of the world before doing so with the people of India”.

NDA’s attack was sharp, perhaps all the more so with Left having moved completely into the opposition space. Hitting at the government for its haste, after the Left pullout, in trying to seal the Indo-US agreement, Advani said the government had lost all credibility and its word could not be believed. “A minority government has bartered away national interest through the back-door,” he said.

Pointing out that external affairs minister Pranab Mukherjee had, barely 48 hours ago, categorically declared that the government would approach IAEA only after a trust vote and that the assurance followed consultations with the Prime Minister, Advani said the draft had been circulated even before the PM returned from the G8 summit.

The government had approached IAEA and circulated the draft among 25 IAEA board members. Such was the PM’s keenness to move ahead with the deal that he had spoken of approaching IAEA “very soon” even as Mukherjee invited the Left for a final meeting on the pact.

Expressing his apprehension that the deal was deeply flawed, Advani asked, “What is the government trying to hide?” He said NDA suspects there is a “conspiracy afoot to present the nation with a fait accompli on the deal by rushing through it behind closed doors”.
Advani said. “No government, least of all a minority government, can be permitted to make commitments on an issue as fundamental to the country’s long-term interests and national security.

[Short Story of the Agreement]
[The safeguards agreement between India and the International Atomic Energy Agency was released to the public on Thursday 10-7-2008. The text acknowledges the unique nuclear category India will occupy if the Indo-US nuclear deal is completed - that of a recognised nuclear power who has not signed the Nuclear Non-proliferation Treaty.

An additional clause addresses the Department of Atomic Energy fears that international inspectors may steal ideas from its precious three-step thorium cycle. Thus, the inspectors must take "every precaution to protect commercial and industrial secrets" and keep their paws off technology and components indigenously developed by India.
In India, the opposition has argued the text falls short on supply guarantees. This forgets the IAEA does not provide nuclear fuel, it only allows countries to do so.

Sources say the IAEA's board of governors will convene in Vienna between July 28-30 to debate and vote on the agreement. The safeguards are the least political and most technical of the four negotiated texts that the nuclear deal has generated so far.
If a majority of the board fails to approve the agreement, the Nuclear Suppliers Group cannot even consider asking its members to join the US in waiving the nuclear sanctions that India faces. Indian officials are relatively optimistic about the chances of approval by the IAEA. It requires only a majority vote by the board.]

Painting the Congress-led government as untrustworthy, with just months to go for a slew of assembly polls followed by Lok Sabha elections, Advani remarked, “If its senior-most minister’s solemn declaration about seeking a trust vote can be so summarily overturned, how can Prime Minister be trusted with anything? It is capable of going back on assurances even before the ink is dry.”

Let us wait and see.

BJP never betrayed DMK Party.

BJP never betrayed DMK Party.

Karunanidhi in his poetry on 5th July 2008 states, that he will burry the Vedic Sastras [lessons] under a 1000 feet depth. The way of his writing poetry looks like a man sitting under a palm tree telling that he is taking milk. On sentiment reasons Karunanidhi was unable to remove the yellow towel from his shoulder, and tells that Vedic lessons are created against rationality.

If Karunanidhi is a real rationalist, the Hindu endowment Board is under his control, and he can issue a order to put a Notice Board in every temple that no-body should worship the deities in the temple because they were all created by Sastras. Not only that while receiving money for welfare measures from the Chief of hermitage [Adheenam ], he can tell them that they should not encourage any worship in the Temple and no schools for cultivating Vedic lessons to be conducted. While B.J.P. was in power Karunanidhi has got Minister Ship for Murasoli Maran and other party men and at that time how he believed that BJP is not a communal party? How the BJP now become a communal party for him?

Now for retaining power Congress wants to wash away the left parties and going to join hands with Samajwadi Party. No body interested in secularism and they all wants to retain Power only. They have also betrayed DMK Party once and BJP never done that. Karunanidhi must realize this and there is no use of telling communal slogan against BJP.

Now people are aware of the antecedent of all party leaders and they won’t believe in any false propaganda.

In Indian epic Mahabharata, the King Dhuryodhana was unable to find a Good man from his court. But for the King Dharmaputhra, he is seeing all the people surrounded by him are good and he was unable to point out a bad man.

Control your Monkey Mind.

Control your Monkey Mind.

Controlling the Monkey Mind is a guide to Pure Land practice. Loving-kindness (courage spirit), Compassion (pity to another), Sympathetic Joy (sympathy), Equanimity (temper) These four attitudes are said to be excellent or sublime because they are the right or ideal way of conduct towards living beings They provide, in fact, the answer to all situations arising from social contact. They are the great removers of tension, the great peacemakers in social conflict, and the great healers of wounds suffered in the struggle of existence. They level social barriers, build harmonious communities, awaken slumbering magnanimity long forgotten, revive joy and hope long abandoned, and promote human brotherhood against the forces of egotism.

We must work hard for earning the money. .But we should not consider that money is the only thing that we have to earn in this world. With money we can help poor people and those who are deserving real help with no-body to help them. .You may aware of the story of Buddha. He left all his Kingdom and want to know about the real happiness in the world. By serving poor people and showing affection to all handicapped people in their distress, we can also become like Mahatma. By cultivating good habits from people like Vivekananda,Adi Sankara, Raghavendra and Buddha we can also leave the worldly pleasures and follow the true path of Wisdom.

The practice of loving-kindness with children and meditation, or courage of spirit, can be done in one of two ways: either in intensive prolonged meditation to develop deep states of concentration, or in daily life at any time one meets with people and animals or thinks about them.

CPM and CPI must come forward to oppose the N.Deal without accepting Karunanidhi’s advice.

CPM and CPI must come forward to oppose the N.Deal without accepting Karunanidhi’s advice.
Tamilnadu Chief Minister Karunanidhi may be telling for the sake of his family rule, that communal parties will come to power, if UPA was not supported by CPM. If CPM is not having any self respect and having no faith in Peoples democracy in India, it can join hands with Karunanidhi’s words. The present soaring prices of all commodities and the UPA Governments inability to control the prices, the common citizens in India are put into lot of problems in running their day-to-day family life and are worried about the present Governments policy in every thing including N. deal with U.S.

बीJP on Saturday 21-6-08 said “the Government’s dithering on the India-US Nuclear deal underlined Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s lack of authority and argued that the highest political post could be a “private arrangement” between Singh and Congress President Sonia Gandhi.”

CPM Polit Bureau Member Brinda Karat on Saturday told “We will oppose the US Conspiracy to make India its strategic partner through the deal. We will not support it ... The deal has no consensus in Parliament,” she told a press conference here. “At a time when the people are worried over price rise, we ask the UPA government why it is worried over US.” Karat said, wondering why the Centre was again seeking to move forward the deal.

CPM and CPI must stand to their words in opposing the Nuclear Deal otherwise they will not get a good name in the middle of workers and common people of India.
They should never accept Karunanidhi’s advice for catch holding the power for his self interest.

Karnanidhi not to destroy the ancient monument of Ram-Sethu with atheist mind or for some other reasons like families benefit.

Karnanidhi not to destroy the ancient monument of Ram-Sethu with atheist mind or for some other reasons like families benefit.

Rameswaram Ramanathaswamy Temple.

On Sunday1-6-2008, Karunanidhi issued an appeal through a poem to agitators of Sethu samudram project, urging them to allow the scheme in the interest of Tamil Nadu.

In the interest of free flow of traffic in Marina Beach, the previous A.I.A.D.M.K. Government removed the Kannagi Statue which was erected in the mid-way of the Marina approach road. Even the then Tamil Nadu Government assured that the removed Statue will be erected in a proper place.Karunanidhi was unable to tolerate this action and created several agitations through his party. After coming to power he immediately reinstalled the Kannagi statue in the same place itself. When such was the situation, how Karunanidhi making his appeal to the several millions of Hindu community, to forget the Ram-sethu issue which is mingled in their heart.

There are several people in Tamil Nadu who have worked for the uplift of the Indian Nation and Tamil language. Makavi Subramania Barathiar, Thiru Vi.Ka. U.Ve. saminatha Iyer, Muthuramalinga Thevar and several other eminent Tamil scholars never interfered in the belief of any religion.

Now in the interest of several millions of Hindu community people, if Karunanidhi make arrangements to shift the dredging work without disturbing the Ram-Sethu Bridge, he will be certainly appreciated even by millions of Lord Ram followers. No Hindu is standing as hindrance to the Rs. 2,427 crore project and all of their humble appeal to Karunanidhi is that the Ram-Sethu should not be destroyed and the canal way may be shifted to some other place. Ram-Sethu is a monument and a worshipful place of Hindu Community like Muslims “Kabaa” and Christians Jerusalem.

Moreover in his application, the Janata Party leader alleged that Baalu’s family controlled firm — Meenam Fisheries Ltd — having fishing and shipping interest in the Palk Strait and Gulf of Mannar area, would “benefit tremendously from the implementation of the project.” He said this was the reason why the shipping minister was probably pushing for early commencement of the project, which had been stalled on the interim orders of the apex court.”

On sentiment reasons, Karunanidhi always wear a Yellow towel on his shoulder for a very long period. He was unable to leave the yellow towel and telling to others that Buddha was also having the yellow Towel. When such was his strong sentiment in wearing the ordinary yellow Towel, How the millions of Hindu community people will erase the faith in the Ram-Sethu Bridge?

All Hindu community people with folded hands request Karnanidhi not to destroy the ancient monument of Ram-Sethu with atheist mind or for some other reasons like families benefit.

Our ambition is, in his present age of 85years, Karunanidhi must stand as a symbol of well wisher to all the community and get a memorable name.

In Karnataka History a New B.J.P. era was born.

In Karnataka History a New B.J.P. era was born.

In Karnataka History, a new B.J.P. era was born in the state politics after BJP leader B S Yeddyurappa took oath as the 25th chief minister of Karnataka in the presence of Several lakhs of BJP supporters and national leaders, in front of the Vidhana Soudha at Bangalore on Friday May 30 afternoon. While this is the second time that Yeddyurappa has assumed power as the chief minister, it is for the first time that BJP has come into power in South India, on its own. Yeddyurappa attained this Victory by his tireless work and with the support of enthusiastic Party workers.

Governor Rameshwar Thakur administered oath of office to the members of the newly-formed council of ministers, in a glittering ceremony, witnessed by national leaders like BJP national president Rajnath Singh, leader of the opposition in Loksabha L K Advani, NDA convenor George Fernandes, Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi, Punjab chief minister Prakash Singh Badal, ex Maharashtra deputy chief minister Gopinath Munde beside state MPs, swamijis and other leaders.

Yeddyurappa the humble B.J.P. Worker,

Yeddyurappa was born on February 27, 1943 in the village of Bookanakere in the Mandya district. His father Siddalingappa and mother Puttathayamma belonged to the Lingayat community. He was named after the presiding deity of a Shaivite temple built by the saint Siddalingeshwar at Yediyur, in Tumkur district. He lost his mother when he was just four year old. He completed his education with a degree in Bachelor of Arts.
In 1965, he got a job of a first-division clerk in the social welfare department but instead shifted to Shikaripur where he joined as a clerk at Veerabhadra Shastri's Shankar rice mill. In 1967, Yeddyurappa married Mythradevi, the daughter of Veerabhadra Shastri. He later set up a hardware shop in Shimoga.

Yeddyurappa has two sons; Raghavendra and Vijayendra and three daughters; Arunadevi, Padmavati and Umadevi. In 2004, he lost his wife when she accidentally fell into a water tank. In 2007, on the advice of his astrologer, he changed the spelling of his English name from Yediyurappa to Yeddyurappa to have luck on his side.
He was first elected to the lower house of Karnataka Legislature in 1983 and has since represented the Shikaripur constituency five times.

On behalf of BJP Friends web blog, we wish Yeddyurappa all success in his career as Chief Minister of Karnataka.

B.J.P. Hails big Victory in Karnataka.

B.J.P. Hails big Victory in Karnataka.

B.J.P. as expected hails big victory in Karnataka. The people of Karnataka voted for a clean rule, which BJP always having with its other states. We are herewith giving the news as published in the Chennai News Paper’s.

The Triumph Will Prove To Be A Turning Point: Advani

New Delhi: Its maiden victory across the Vindhyas comes as a huge morale booster for BJP barely months away from the Lok Sabha elections and is sure to gear up its rank and file for the next round of crucial assembly polls — in Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh — coming up by the end of the year. While Sunday’s outcome has finally, as its Karnataka campaign manager Arun Jaitley pointed out, helped the BJP shake off the tag of a Hindi party, it is hoping for tangible spinoffs ahead of the next Lok Sabha polls. The party is viewing the majority in Karnataka — where it was mostly engaged in a direct fight with Congress, its chief rival for the Centre — as a warm up session to the fast approaching Lok Sabha battle. The buoyant mood was evident from L K Advani’s declaration, “The triumph in Karnataka will prove to be a turning point.” A jubiliant Leader of Opposition predicted that 2008 was going to be a “year of change.” BJP’s campaign managers feel that the first trophy in the South was facilitated by a whole host of factors from a very effective campaign to the pause in feuding between B S Yediyurappa and former union minister Ananth Kumar for which Advani and others had to work hard.
But what seems to be giving the party more comfort is that Karnataka has proved the potency of the armoury it plans to use in the Lok Sabha polls. The results are attributed to the way the saffron campaign capitalised on the unease over inflation, internal security and the farm sector distress — precisely the set of issues that the party has planned to use in the encounter for who gets to control the Centre.
But as the party gloats over the breakthrough in its decade-old effort to build upon the toehold it so far had in the South, many of its leaders seem to recognise the risk of complacency seeping in among colleagues known for their penchant for premature celebrations. The risk can be serious because the battle with Congress now shifts to the BJP-ruled states of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh. Congress’s victory in the three states will reverse the momentum the saffron outfit appears to have gained because of the Karnataka outcome. It will also dwarf a possible win for BJP in Congress ruled Delhi, making Sonia Gandhi appear the favourite. As of now, however, BJP’s assertive showing in Karnataka can also help it hook potential NDA allies and acquire the upper hand in its dealings with the existing partners.
Mamata Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress, which also gained some new energy from the recent panchayat polls in West Bengal, has been playing tough to get. Even JD(U), which had been haggling for seats with BJP in Karnataka and finally ended up putting candidates against its ally in some seats, has been playing truant now and then.

We congratulate former Karnataka chief minister and BJP leader B S Yeddyurappa and his colleagues and other party workers for their tireless effort in bringing Victory to Bharatiya Janatha Party.

Bhutto was the only elected leader in Pakistan on the slogan “Roti, Kapda, makan.”

Bhutto was the only elected leader in Pakistan on the slogan “Roti, Kapda, makan.”

Pakistan was not created as a result of the demands of the people living in the area now forming Pakistan. It was imposed on them by the British and the Muslim minority of India. In the 1948 elections the provinces which to-day constitutes Pakistan did not vote for the Muslim league which advocated Pakistan. The Muslim League won its seats in East Bengal and in the Indian minority provinces under the separate electorate system.

On the basis of their All-India numerical strength in the central legislature, the league pressed for and got Pakistan with the connivance of the British. This will explain why the Muslim league Muslim League did not survive as a significant party in Pakistan. This is the reason why the Baluchi leader Ghaus Baksh Bizenjo has questioned the viability of Pakistan ideology. There is today a feeling in Pakistan that if India had not been divided, the three smaller provinces- Sind, the N.W .F.P. and Baluchistan would have enjoyed greater political economic and linguistic autonomy under the Indian Constitution than they do under the Pakistan Constitution of 1973.

In Pakistan the main beneficiary of partition was West Punjab. In the initial period following the partition, the Mujhahirs from India tended to dominate. Jinnah and Liaquat were not natives of Pakistan. However after the assassination of Liaquat Ali Khan, the Punjabis came into their own and ever since Pakistan politics have been largely their preserve. After the 1971 war and the loss of eastern wing, Punjabis constituted over 60 percent of the population of Pakistan. What is more they contribute nearly 75 percent of the man power of the armed forces. Today, Pakistan is West Punjab with a hinterland of three minor regions- Sind, N.W.F.P. and Baluchistan. When Pakistan was created, the Muslim League had no mass base in that country and over the years it has slowly withered.
Bhutto is well justified in claiming that in the entire history of Pakistan, he is the only elected political leader. Zulfikar Ali Bhutto served as the President of Pakistan from 1971 to 1973 and as Prime Minister from 1973 to 1977. He was the founder of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), the largest and most influential political parties of Pakistan. His daughter Benazir Bhutto also served twice as prime minister; she was assassinated on December 27. 2007.

Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was elected on the slogan “Roti, Kapda, makan.” (food, clothing and shelter)

Whether Karunanidhi not ashamed of other misusing Powers?

Whether Karunanidhi not ashamed of other misusing Powers?

In Tamil Nadu social welfare minister Poongothai Aladi Aruna submitted her resignation, after being taped telling DVAC Director S K Upadhyay a police officer to dilute a corruption case against her relative. Chief Minister Karunanidhi in his statement stated, hat he cannot justify a Minister’s action to protect a relative who is facing corruption Charges and he feel ashamed. We don’t know, whether karunanidhi is ashamed only in Poongothai case. It is not known what was the DMK government’s stand was on other ministers allegedly misusing their office for similar ends.

Jain Commission Report.

In Jain commission report, Jain has quoted from a speech by the then Prime Minister Chandra Shekhar in the Lok Sabha on January 10, 1991. He had said: "Certain information that were just given to the chief minister (Karunanidhi) has gone to the LTTE headquarters not only in Tamil Nadu but even in Jaffna. This is something very serious." Whether Karunanidhi not ashamed for this?

Sarkaria Commission Report.

In the final report, the Sarkaria Commission came to the following conclusion on the allegations on the Veeranam scheme:
``It has been established that Shri. Karunanidhi, abusing his official position as Chief Minister, actuated with the motive to unduly favour Sathyanarayana Brothers with the award of the contract for the Veeranam project, directed the Chief Engineer, Shri. Hussain, to tailor his recommendations on the tenders in such a manner as would enable the Government to accept the tender of Sathyanarayana Bros...Whether Karunanidhi not ashamed for this?

[Former C.M.] Jayalalitha’s Statement.

Now the Opposition Party Leader Jayalalitha said in a statement here on Thursday, but warned chief minister MKarunanidhi against using it to take the moral high ground, as Union shipping and road transport minister T R Baalu faced a similar accusation of using his office in an attempt to influence a government official to grant favours for a company owned by his family.
“Poongothai had to resign because she was caught red-handed trying to influence an official. What about another minister in Karunandhi’s cabinet?” she asked, referring to Fisheries minister K P P Samy, who, she alleged, had barged into a police station with
his brother and freed some suspects from a lock-up.

Not only has Baalu refused to resign, he has even made out an argument that what he did was for the public good,” she said, and asked what happened to Karunanidhi’s moral high ground on such occasions.
She said the controversy also involved ‘telephone tapping’, and such larger issues were sought to be swept under the mat through the Poongothai incident. Even before the minister’s conversation with the vigilance officer had been disclosed in the media, the state chief secretary had been ‘unmasked’ trying to ‘influence’ the same officer over the phone, she said. She wanted to know whether phones were being tapped on the chief minister’s orders, or by police officers on their own. “Either he has to rein them in or resign,” Jayalalithaa said.

“Men are blind in their own cause.”

Tamil Nadu D.M.K. Minister caught on tape pleading for kin.

News papers in Tamil Nadu, like Times of India have published News, about, how a Minister who was elected for peoples welfare was misusing her powers for selfish matters. This is only a small incident and big matters have not yet come to light in the D.M.K. Ministry.

News Published in Tamil Nadu News Papers.

Asks Vigilance Officer to Go ‘Easy’ On Cousin
Chennai: The Tamil Nadu government was hit by yet another phone-tapping controversy on Monday — a conversation involving a minister asking a vigilance officer to go “easy” on a relative facing corruption charges was revealed to the media. Social Welfare Minister Poongothai Aladi Aruna confirmed that the voice on the tape was hers, but said she was just inquiring about the status of the case and not pressurising the officer. The incident has come barely a few weeks after a similar incident involving a telephone conversation between the chief secretary and the same vigilance officer rocked the administration. The conversation between Poongothai and director of vigilance and anticorruption S K Upadhyay, pertaining to a pending probe against her relative, was disclosed in the form of an audio CD by Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy. He told a press conference here that Poongothai had spoken to Upadhyay to get the case against her relative, an assistant electrical engineer, diluted and sent back to the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board (TNEB) for ordinary disciplinary proceedings rather than criminal prosecution. “He’s actually my appa’s own sister’s son, my first cousin...if things has (sic) to be done, please go ahead. But at least make sure it is not very intense,” the voice on the tape is heard saying. Jawahar had been suspended after being caught accepting a bribe. As he was a relative of Poongothai, she tried to help him by speaking to Upadhyay, said Swamy. When contacted, Poongothai told TOI that she spoke to Upadhyay only to know the status of the case. “As a minister, I speak to officials everyday and it is part of my job. Jawahar is my relative and I wanted to know the status of the case. I’ve not done anything wrong and I have nothing to worry,” she said. Admitting that she had spoken to the DVAC chief twice about four months ago, the minister said she had not attempted to interfere with the case. “I just wanted to know the procedure being followed. As a political person, people approach me seeking help. But I’ve never tried to help anyone who had charges against him,” she added. Asked whether she was admitting that the voice in the tape was hers, Poongothai said, “You want me to deny it?
"I am not like other politicians to deny that it is not my voice.” The Minister is telling how other Ministers will behave if they got in a episode.

There is no gambling like Politics.

B.J.P. to be voted in Karnataka Elections.

B.J.P. to be voted in Karnataka Elections.

In Karnataka Congress has ruled over several times but no progress was seems to be achieved. Now the families of Prime Minister H.D.Deva Gowda, former C.M. S. Bangarappa and former Karnataka chief minister and BJP leader B S Yeddyurappa were standing in the poll scene. Whoever stands in the election, first they must think over the people’s problem like to control the rising prices of all commodities, which common people are daily using for their living.
While B.J.P was in power in central Government, the prices of all commodities were under control. In the name of secularism the oppositions joined hand and brought down the B.J.P. Government but of no use. In India-US Nuclear deal, the left in UPA and Congress were unable to take a final decision. Congress was unable to take a firm decision on any policy matter due to the interference of alliance parties.

In Rajiv assassination case, Congress/I brought down the UF government after Gujral rejected its demand that the DMK, the Tamil Nadu-based party allegedly linked to Rajiv Gandhi's assassination, be expelled from the UF coalition. As neither Congress/I nor the BJP could form a coalition government, new elections were called for February– March 1998. Now the Congress and D.M.K. are holding hand in UPA Government.
During NDA regime India emerged as an IT giant with Bangalore as its hub.
BJP ruled states are the top rankers when it comes to implementation of Central welfare schemes like NREG.
The much acclaimed growth rate of the UPA Government will give you a different picture if State wise figures are taken into consideration.
The States ruled by the BJP or the NDA have a much higher growth rate than the States ruled by the Congress or UPA constituents.
Gujarat is a State which BJP ruled for 12 years. When people analyse the 12 years of BJP rule in Gujarat with 30 years of CPM rule in West Bengal or15 years of RJD rule in Bihar or with 10 years of Congress rule in Madhya Pradesh, they find a stark contrast between the Governments run by other parties and by the BJP.
If we compare the development undertaken by the BJP led NDA Government in 6 years and by the Congress for nearly 50 years it becomes evident that only the BJP led NDA could provide a meaningful and sustainable development since Independence.

The BJP promises the people of Karnataka that it would leave no stone unturned in ushering in an era of comprehensive development in the State and no section of the society would be left untouched from its effect.

As a Indian faith in India and its cultural values, Vote for B.J.P. in Karnataka without fear or favour.

Aryans are native of Bharatam only.

Aryans are native of Bharatam only.

“Arya” word emphasis, Noble, Respected, High-born, elderly, Cultured and denotes the people, who believed in and lived up to a well-defined cultural systems. The problem of the Aryas has become insoluble because it is based on the assumption of a common language, a common race and a common Home. All these are mere guesses. There is no archaeological or any other proof to support these guesses. A study of the Indian literature, religion, philosophy, society and political economic organizations clearly shows that the Aryas of India and the so-called Indo-Europeans of Europe and other parts of Asia belonged to the entirely different civilizations.
The similarity of languages is superficial and cannot be taken to be the basis of a common home. Therefore, there is no sense in the theory that the Aryas lived originally in one single home outside India. They were undoubtedly the natives of India.
We have to see, in the huge Sanskrit literature there is no mention of any place outside India, from which Aryas could have migrated here. On the contrary, the authors of the Vedas, the Purina’s and the Epics declare their deep love and devotion to their mother land Bharata, and invest it with all holiness. They also describe in the Rig-Veda-the earliest literary work of mankind-their home, particularly, the Sapta-Sindhu region, to fully and in so many details as to leave the doubts about their being the sons of this Sacred soil.
The whole subject of the Aryan problem is a farrago of linguistic speculations or archaeological imaginations complicated by racial prejudices and
chauvinistic xenophobia.
On the evidence of Puranas, scholars like F.E.Pargiter have shown that the Aryas went of India and settled different parts of the earth. They are originators of all early civilizations. This view is further supported by the evidence of common place names, names of rulers, gods, social systems of common life’s and practices of the people of Sumerian, Egypt, Persia and other ancient civilizations.

There is no doubt about the fact that Aryas lived in Bharatam from the times immemorial.
