King Badragiri married three hundred and sixty girls and ruling a kingdom. One day one Saint came to his court-yard and offered him a precious pomegranate fruit and told him if he takes that fruit he will live for a very long period. The King without eating that fruit he gave to her first queen Mohanangi  and told her to eat it in a auspicious time. Mohanangi without eating that fruit gave to her lover who is looking after her horses. That horse servant without eating that fruit he gave it her lover girl who is working with him. That lady without taking that fruit takes it in her basket in the head to her friend who is a prostitute. The king who was standing in the balcony of the Palace seen the pomegranate fruit on her basket and asked her how she got that fruit.


Kings first wife Mohanangi told the truth that it was given to her lover who is looking after the horse. On seeing these affairs of his wife King Badragiri very much dejected and called all her three hundred and fifty nine wife’s and asked them to go and live with whoever they like. He further left his throne and went to the forest as a saint. After 


King Badragiri went to forest King Vikramathithya came to power along with his brother Patti and ruled his country for a very long period.
